Is this project DEAD?
Have you seen the feedback on Store lately?
Have you seen all those ONE STAR reviews saying the app does not work after install?
Lumia 640 phone, Win 10 Mobile. Did data reset/restart/reinstall nothing helps. App shows MOJANG logo on white background and then just closes.
And this is not a free app, I paid for it! As did hundreds of other people!

I wasted couple hours talking to 3 or 4 different MS support teams (by chat). They have no clue, keep redirecting me between each other.
This should be a MASSIVE issue for you. App's rating drops drastically and... there is zero response from Mojang/Microsoft?...
Microsoft game on Microsoft platform on Microsoft phone, on latest Windows 10. Paid game at that. And it crashes on launch for so many (maybe ALL) users?! What is this, a scam of some sort?

THIS ISSUE IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. OPEN YOUR EYES. SEE THE FEEDBACK ON WINDOWS STORE!!!
The reason why I say this is not a duplicate, is because the linked issue is opened 5 months ⚠️ ago and has zero ⚠️ response from Mojang (well until few hours ago).
This might be a recurrent bug or something but the thing is - this is happening NOW - you can view the feedback on Store and see! ALL latest reviews are one-star, stating same issue: app just won't load on clean install.
I don't think that you understand the gravity of the situation here. People are ditching Microsoft devices and bashing Microsoft for the SCAM that lasts already several weeks. Yes this game in Windows Store is a SCAM because it charges you money and is *guaranteed * to not work.
I bothered registering on Jira, also talking with MS customer service, but most people don't bother. They just get fed up with platform (Windows 10 Mobile) and move along to the alternative, never looking back again. I know at least two other people (from my surrounding) ditching Windows phone just for this particular reason that Minecraft just plainly does not work!

I know this is a severe issue, but I can't do anything about it except perhaps pinging a few PE devs and hope they see my message. The fact that MCPE-21236 didn't get any responses from Mojang doesn't justify this being a valid report though; Mojang usually never comments on tickets like these until they're actually fixed.
