Game crash on startup (Windows 10 Mobile)

Same problem, this bug is massive, it should have a TOP PRIORITY rank. It's not just the cost of the game, it's the time people have spent on it.

This issue was opened 5 months ⚠️ ago and has zero ⚠️ response from Mojang (well until few hours ago).

This might be a recurrent bug or something but the thing is - this is happening NOW - you can view the feedback on Store and see! ALL latest reviews are one-star, stating same issue: app just won't load on clean install.

I don't think that you understand the gravity of the situation here. People are ditching Microsoft devices and bashing Microsoft for the SCAM that lasts already several weeks. Yes this game in Windows Store is a SCAM because it charges you money and is *guaranteed * to not work.

I bothered registering on Jira, also talking with MS customer service, but most people don't bother. They just get fed up with platform (Windows 10 Mobile) and move along to the alternative, never looking back again. I know at least two other people (from my surrounding) ditching Windows phone just for this particular reason that Minecraft just plainly does not work!

Fresh install on Lumia 650, most recent OS version 1703. (Build 10.0.15063.540)
MSA/Xbox account under family safety
(same account plays windows 10 edition without problems)
Language German, Region Germany
Game installed on on-board flash
Game shows white Mojang splash screen for about 21 seconds, then exits, no error message.
Phone rebooted, no change
wifi on/off, no change
flight mode, no change
deleted game, reinstalled, no change
changed family safety setting to adult, no change.

This issue is due to be fixed in time for the 1.2 release.

As a workaround in the meantime, you can try turning off Wi-Fi and launching the game. That usually allows the game to launch without issue.

@Mega_Spud, as noted above, turning off Wi-Fi does not make any difference. Are you sure you have identified correct bug? And if so, when could we expect 1.2 release?

1.2 loads on my Lumia 650. Looks like it's fixed!

Still crash on Mojang screen on v1.2.8 on Lumia 920 1Gb WP10

I've just got a Lumia 640 XL LTE and this game doesn't work in 1.2.10 update. Please look into it. You've fixed the game for Lumia 535 but now my phone was stolen and I'm using this current one.

Shame really. You should contact Microsoft for the solution since they own this IP and WM10, and it's mind blowing to see that the game doesn't run on their own platform... geez... I'm so fed up with this. 😞

Hello, my lumia 550 (windows 10) crashing on the game, Minecraft windows 10 mobile edition, and microsoft studios not giving me an answer😞

Can someone check this problem or say it to mojang, i dont want to delete the game because its not worth it😞

PLs answer fast to find this problem, and for many tousand other lumia 550 users.

I have the same problem when I turn on Minecraft the Mojang logo shows up and the game freezes 😞
