The game crashes every time I begin the world conversion. My save file is only 16.0 MB. This is really ridiculous that we have to switch to a new version that doesn't work well. Please fix. There is no point for me to play on this new version if I can't convert my world.

Even though your world is a very small one compared to other worlds mentioned here, I still think this should be resolved as a duplicate of MCPE-25344 as it seems like the file size threshold causing the game to crash varies depending on your console. Maybe the threshold is already reached here for your console.

Well I messed up. Didn't realized the saved data of "Minecraft Xbox one edition" was connected to the Bedrock version. I thought resetting the New version completely would solve this issue but it ended up deleting all of my saves on the "Xbox one edition".

I just want to chime in and say I had the same issue with a world but I narrowed it down to a recently-placed large chest full of enchanted books. After I removed the chest and all the books, clearing my inventory, the game synced fine. Hard to tell exactly why this was the case, but it was consistently the problem with my world after many tests. Hope you solve it!
