Left Click/Right Click/LT/RT does not work. The on-screen hand will move as though the action is being completed, however nothing will happen, which means nothing can be mined or used, or if they were available, nothing can be placed either. I have attached a video which shows this to an extent, it is of me trying to open a chest using the controller, to no avail

We were unable to reproduce the problem you are describing in the latest version.
Does this affect every world? Please create a new world and confirm that your permissions are not restricted (ie set yourself to operator, not visitor). Also, please make sure your gamemode is not set to Adventure (/gamemode 2).
