I've been enjoying the latest update, but I have noticed that monsters stopped spawning at night, to verify this, I spent two nights just wandering around several biomes, and while I found a fair number of animals, I was never attacked by a zombie, skeleton, or creeper. I have only been able to find mobs spawning from an xp farm I had created, and a few underground, though I think those had spawned in the previous version.
