Dear Sir and Madam,
the problem is that I see especially creepers spawning in bright areas where they shouldn't spawn actually.
They often destroyed my house when there was just a creeper in a hidden corner of my house 😃
But I also think that the creepers (or maybe the mobs in general?) spawn a way too much in Minecraft.
I have set the difficulty to "Hard", anyway the creepers shouldn't spawn in these bright areas.
I would thank you very much if a developer could take of this not by letting mobs spawn in such bright areas (e.g below lamps in the house)! 🙂
By the way in my house there is enough light and there are no gaps which could cause mobs to come inside.
I have experienced this issue now for a lot of times.
Best regards,
Janek P.

I had a creeper show up in a workstation today and a skeleton.
Maybe I had a dark spot but I don't think I did and there's no F3 screen so I can't actually check even if I wanted unless there's a mod for that.
Confirmed again on Bedrock edition on Xbox One. Watched a creeper spawn in the block right next to a torch. Within moments, a skeleton, spider and zombie spawned in the same area, in which torches have been placed a maximum of 4 blocks apart. Only half-slab blocks prevent mob spawning.

I have to add that this does still happen as of 4/9/18. We have a sheep color farm that is definitely well-lit, and yet a creeper spawned inside one of the pens. There are torches placed every few blocks to prevent exactly this. This makes 'safe zones' not very safe.
