I was playing on Xbox one live minecraft and i noticed animals do follow you with food but all of the sudden they dont, i think is a glitch because is mainly when i walk, i tried walking slow to see if i was going to fast but it still happen animals kind of forget i still have food on my hand. Btw i tried dandelions with rabbits and they dont even get near??
