I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 that I play Minecraft PE on and for some reason I can't play my game because there is a lucky block box of some sort frozen on my Minecraft menu screen. I have reported this exact issue before, but was told that something had been modified and that i should back up my worlds and reinstall Minecraft PE. I can not back up my worlds or anything else Minecraft related because I can not get into the game die to it being frozen. Please fix this so I can play again. I paid $6.99 for Minecraft PE and would love to be able to play it.

It was a resource pack. I can't take the resource pack off because I can't get into the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times already. What now?
From what I've seen it is installed manually, not within the game. How did you install it? You should revert those steps. I'm not familiar with android devices, and Minecraft installation on those so I won't be able to help you with specifics.
I was in the settings menu of my Minecraft game and went under the Global Resources tab. There it gives you options if adding resource packs to your game...this is where I added the lucky block resource pack. I can not revert these steps as I can not get past the screen I showed you. It won't let me in, otherwise I would have already taken the resource off.
I wanted to let you know that I sent SprentermaxG a message on XBox explaining my delima and am waiting to hear back from him/her.
It may be possible to remove this manually using a file explorer on your computer. To do this, try the following steps:
Connect your device to your computer
Open your file explorer program and select your device
Navigate to
/storage/emulated/0/games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
Look for the resource pack which is giving you issues
Delete the file and reinstall Minecraft
Hopefully this works, please reply letting me know how it worked out. I'm not extremely familiar with Android devices as I mostly use iOS, but it's the best answer I could come up with.
@Rqbby
Thank you for your suggestion. Just to let you know, I tried what you said and it worked. Thanks again.
@Brianya S Watkins Great to hear! Be sure to read more about a texture pack before installing just to be sure it's safe.
I've searched a bit with what I can decipher form the overlapping text in the screenshot. Looks like a credits or informative screen about an add-on called "Lucky Block" by "sprintermax". Removing the add-on should fix the problem.
