Currently for me and other people that I play with when we create a nether portal it creates one in the nether like how it is supposed too. Now if we try to create another nether portal it teleports us back to the original nether portal in both the nether and overworld.
I found it to effect both the single player version of Minecraft and Realms.

Is this in a world that has been converted from 4J/legacy console to Bedrock? Can you please add the coordinates of the nether portals?
It's worth noting that the calculation for the Nether portals might be causing some confusion as to how they link up. Using coordinates or a locator map should enable you to accurately link up portals, even if they are very close to one another.

No its a new world. And we have coordinates turn off so we get achievements.
But thanks for telling me for the locator map...
But is the portals like PC? To were you have you calculate the coordinates for the portal in the nether and overworld?

Yes the coordinate system is the same as Java, with a ratio of 1:8.
However, in Bedrock you can use a overworld locator map in the nether to see where your portal should be built in order for them to align.
