my sound doesn't play at all. when i walk, play a music disc, kill mobs, or break blocks i don't hear anything. i have my sound and music turned all the way up. when i first got the game, it worked perfectly, but then one day it stopped. it doesn't make any noise when i am on the title either.

Have you tried a full reinstall of the game?
Backup any data you don't want to lose, then try the following:
Backup your MinecraftWorlds folder (if you want to save your worlds) (Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds)
Uninstall Minecraft
Delete the com.mojang folder (Device storage > games > com.mojang)
Reinstall Minecraft
Run Minecraft and if it works restore your MinecraftWorlds folder
Sometimes a clean install of the game will help with these kind of issues.
