Everything was fine with version1.2.6 and 1.2.7 after updating to v 1.2.8 entire family can’t login or play on multiple devices including iPad gen 5, iPhone 6s, iPad Pro gen 1all with most recent iOS updates. Freezes and crashes and even login problems. Minecraft currently unplayable on iOS.

My friend is having this issue as well. I believe it's been reported here https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-29727.
