When I type this in a command block “testfor @p[x=-131,y=58,z=-247,name=travenater]” or “/testfor @p[x=-131,y=58,z=-247,name=travenater]” the name=works but the xyz coordinates finds that player even though he’s not in that coordinates it might affect previous versions haven’t been useing this world for a while because testing new project in my test world to see if it’s possible to create before emplementing it in that world

However, this issue has been closed as Working as Intended.
The command will also need the Radius argument implemented, otherwise it defaults to infinity.
In the example you used, add the radius argument as follows:
/testfor @p[x=-131,y=58,z=-247,r=0,name=travenater]
