cant use /locate in a template

cant /locate stronghold in the template Lucky Present Survival I can on other templates and it says cant be found in the dimension or it says the coords but in lucky present survival it says cant be found in this dimension if it cant or nothing if it can (fixed it was a gamerule that was disabled)
