Hello,
I am afraid that the version of the game I have want listed. I used to have the xbox one: Console edition, and recently down loaded the 'Better' Together version, which has a huge problems with Mobs.
I play on Hard and I am afraid it is anything but. very few hostile mobs spawn in the overworld at night, no need for a house (kinda the point). I can mine for hours in the dark without running into anything unless i find a spawner when the will if I am very close. The nether is ridiculous, you can just run around in huge open areas mining what ever to you harts content. almost no ghasts at all, they almost never see you and attack, making the nether completely tame.
the problems with mobs spawning, whether its the mob cap or whatever have ruined this game by completely removing any challenge to playing survival. this was a game that I found recently and had been amazed by until this new version, totally ruined the console edition.
Please would you let me know if anything will be done about this? I am afraid this has totally ruined the playing experience for me it is basically terminally on easy and the nether is broken as a result of there being no threat. I know you are busy but I would very much appreciate a response.
thanks for you time
Joe

I have played in caves today on hard too. No need to put down a torch at all. Absolutely
no monsters in caves except spawners. Only an occasional zombie, but very very seldom.
