Slow system freeze after lost sound in-game and pressing ESC

While playing on a local world, mining blocks, all sound will stop playing.
When pressing ESC after this, to exit Minecraft, Windows will slowly start to crash within a minute, before locking up completely (responding to neither hardware nor software input)

What I expected to happen was
That sound should continue to play, and pressing ESC should not crash Windows 😛

What actually happened was
Sound stops. I can continue to play uninterrupted, but if I press ESC, the game will freeze and so will rest of Windows, but slowly.

Steps to reproduce
Mine blocks
When sound disappears, press ESC
Switch to other app, if possible, check if input still works
When Windows has frozen completely, press and hold power button (soft power-off should not work/activate)

I thought I was given an option to put in environment in a next step, but it just posted it. So here is the most important hardware info.

Running Surface Pro 4 (i7-edition)

The sound is coming from a Bluetooth connected speaker.

In a moment, I will make a feedback item in Feedback Hub with screenshot and repro steps, which I will afterwards add a link to in another comment here 🙂

You guys should encourage this as well, as it is so much easier for users ^^

Seems like this issue is resolved with with the newest Minecraft version 🙂 1.11+1.13
