Since January, I have been unable to transfer items into a chest by bulk. Only one by one. This is terribly inconvenient, and has discouraged me from really even playing Minecraft. I am disappointed because 3 bug updates have been released, to only make it worse. I can barely even add an item into a chest.

This is a known issue. See MCPE-30215 and please up vote. It includes a temporary workaround.
