Whenever trying to join a friend's server who was hosting on Xbox one I was unable to join due to a "server outdated" error. When trying to join established servers such as Lifeboat Network or InPVP The game would start to join and then freeze and occasionally crash the game.

This works as intended. While playing a Beta release you cannot join a game hosted on Realms, a partnered server, or a device using the public release.
