I recently converted a world I had on the XBox1 edition of Minecraft to the Bedrock edition. I had already explored quite a bit of area and have a map wall of all the maps that I have explored. I decided to explore some new area in this version and when I created a new map, I realized that the center points of maps in the new version are different than in the old version. Also creating a new map in an area I already explored doesn't show all the area in that map that I already explored. As a result, it seems that the only way to add to my map wall is to re-explore everything again with new maps. Is there a fix for this?

Copy the preexisting maps (empty map + filled map in crafting grid) and use those. Creating new maps not showing previously explored areas is intentional
