I have edited my post to better meet the quality standards of this website.Thank you.
What I expected to happen was:
To find wolves in packs of up to 5, herds of sheep in 3’s, and other mobs spawning as groups or herds
What actually happened was:
Incapable of finding mobs spawn in as ‘groups’ or herds. Only one mob found at a time, regardless of biome or mob type(llama, horse, sheep, pig, wolf). Thus making it incredibly rare to find horses, wolves and llamas especially.
Steps to reproduce:
-Log onto IOS Minecraft V. 1.2.11
-Create survival world(no mods)
-Search for mobs(switch to creative for faster search)
My origional and wordy post is below. Feel free to read it still.
,I created a new world for myself to play in only, and I have yet to see any passive or friendly mobs spawn in ‘groups’. After approx. 30-50 hours of gameplay and exploring 6 level 4 maps covering numerous biomes(including MANY taiga and forest and deserts), I have found one Wolf, one Donkey, two horses and a couple Llamas. But never multiple of any animal at the same time; I.e, The one time I found a wolf he was alone, both times I found the Llamas they were also alone.
Also cows, chickens and pigs, parrots and ocelots spawn a lot less common, and one at a time(I understand some are supposed to).
It seems any mob that is supposed to spawn one at a time does about fine. But any that is supposed to spawn in groups (like horses, who should spawn 3 at a time), struggles to spawn whatsoever.
Anyways there is some really funky stuff related to group-spawning mobs going on in my world. I do not want to scrap my world as it is Vanilla survival and I have put much work into it. I would be pleased to know if anyone else has similar problems, as it could indicate that it isn’t just only my world..
All informational replies appreciated. I am going to make another survival world on my iPad IOS device and see if the same happends.
Thank you for reading.

I created a new world and flew around for thirty minutes. I found a few sheep (never more than one at a time) and a few pigs (never more than one at a time..). I finally found a wolf. And of course, there was only one! Is nobody else having this issue? Mobs will not spawn in groups whatsoever on my IOS
I Added a few pictures of mobs I found. All one at a time. Even a Llama, which is rare to find a single one spawn. Sheep usually go in herds, also.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone could spread some light on this issue.
Because as I said in my opening statement, it’s not just the fact mobs won’t spawn in groups, but seem to spawn less in general.. Nobody should play for 30 hours and only come across one wolf(when many of that time was spent actually searching for wolves).

Update:
I have continued playing in my world for around 4 hours a day now. Still no wolf found. I even duplicated the world and switched to creative to find groups of any mob, and still no groups. I have finally found a donkey so I can breed mules, so that’s cool. However, I am yet to find another wolf.. since I can still find mobs spawning in singles(though vastly rare in some cases, like wolves or Llamas), I will continue playing until I find them and then breed however many I want. Though it will be challenging to collect one of each color, per mob, with this issue(which again, is affecting all my survival and creative worlds, not just this one)
I would be pleased if anyone verified if this is happening to them or not

I have had a friend log onto their Android Tablet and create a world to see if the same problem persists there. And it does. After flying around for thirty minutes, no mobs spawned into the world at 2 or more. Only singles.
I loaded a old world that I created a long time ago to see if the problem persists there. And it does. The device does not matter or the age of the world, as it seems.
The Wiki spawn rules are not trustworthy, as my ps3 I have absolutely no problems with mob spawning, sometimes too many spawn and I get cluttered. The difference here is unbelievable.
