classic user interface bug

I noticed a few around 3 updates back in one of the beta builds there is a problem with the classic ui. Classic ui does not let tap and drag, but I also noticed that in inventory it does not give info of items e.g the name details, attack, enchants on books, potions etc. Also it seems the only place it shows these are in the hot bar. In the pic there is an example of the issue i.e diamond sword not showing item info. I believe there is a bug with crafting enchanted golden apples as well, it does not work.
