Incomplete Minecoin Purchase and failure to restore previous purchases

My son was trying to purchase some additional minecoins on my iPad Air 2 (using my apple account). I approved the purchase (entered apple password) but the transaction failed. Each subsequent time we have tried to complete the purchase we receive an error stating:

"Incomplete minecoin purchase: Someone started a purchase with the billing account on this device. Would you like to complete the purchase with this account?" [See attachment 1]

When I choose "yes" I get the following message: "Something Went Wrong: We were unable to connect to the app store. Try signing in to the app store or checking your internet connection." [See attachment 2]

I am connected to the internet, and have access to the app store. And unfortunately, when I tried to delete and restore the app, the "RESTORE PURCHASES" function does nothing and my son cannot access his previously purchases templates (x2) and coins (380 remaining).

I am having the same exact problem. I am even willing to forfeit the money, but I cannot escape those two screens. Like you, I am connected to the Internet. I even signed out and sign back in to the App Store, still nothing.

I am having the exact same issue! I have logged in and out of itunes & app store and I have forced close Minecraft. I can no longer purchase mine coins on any of my devices. It's infuriating. Mojang told me to contact Apple. I contacted Apple and after three house of support they said it's Mojang's problem!!!! 

I am having the same problem here. I already charged for the purchase, i even got email notification from the bank.
I've tried over and over and over again as everytime i tried to purchase minecoin it says "incomplete minecoin purchase. It looks like we didn't finish things last time. Lets complete your purchase now" then i tried again, but then it appears "something went wrong blahblahblah"

Already contacted apple, but they said it's mojang's problem. They can't do anything about failed in app purchase.

If any of you have found the best results on solving this problem pls let me know.

I have this same exact same problem with our iPad. Money has been charged to my account but no minecoins are available. Very annoying as my son received iTunes gift cards for his birthday for this purpose!

We're having the exact same issue on iPad, unable to complete the previous purchase, asking to check internet connection. Infuriating to be stuck in limbo.

I've found a fix for this!

"Incomplete minecoin purchase: Someone started a purchase with the billing account on this device. Would you like to complete the purchase with this account?"

When I choose "yes" I get the following message: "Something Went Wrong: We were unable to connect to the app store. Try signing in to the app store or checking your internet connection." 

I suddenly remembered that when i set up a new Skype account a couple of months ago, I was asked to create a Microsoft account. It occurred to me that Microsoft owns XBox, so maybe the app store this error is referring to is the Microsoft one, so instead of trying to complete the purchase, I tapped on My Account and logged in using my new Microsoft account. AND IT WORKED. We were immediately served with a pop-up about completing the purchase for the minecoins we had been trying to purchase a week ago, and it went through, finally.
