every time I try to make a purchase it come up saying "sorry something went wrong please check connection."

Internet connection isn't an issue. I'm even able to connect to multiplayer servers.

Xbox account is connected. Payment option is account.

Plus, the screenshots; Duplicates MCPE-32605.

anyway.. I don't get to the purchase option like that post you keep referencing. Automatic Something went wrong. It's not the same. The solution that post mentions won't work either. Doesn't matter what XBOX account is on it, it doesn't work.

@unknown Sorry to hear you're facing this issue. Could you confirm whether changing your connection makes a difference? Either through allowing Cellular Data through the settings, or switching to a different WiFi network?

Also, it would be worth you contacting Mojang Customer Support directly, in case there is something specific with your account that they can assist you with. Please send them your Gamertag and a link to this bug report (and possibly MCPE-32605 too).

I've got the exact same issue.

XBox one. Ethernet cable, connection is fine.

Tried reinstalling the game, issue persists.

Credit card within billing section is fine and in date.

I also have this error every time I go to setup a Realm. I can’t find any answers to this anywhere. I know you have a lot of money Mojang but I’d like to give you more so could you fix this please 🙂

Just had this happen.  Game took my money, but my minecoins never showed up.  Tried again later, and minecoins showed up for an additional purchase. When I try to use my minecoins, I cannot, and receive the same error message.

@unknown - Could you please confirm that you have signed into the correct Microsoft account associated with your coin purchases? As per this comment - sometimes the issue is that the user needs to sign into the correct account to retrieve their purchases.

I've found a fix for this!

"Incomplete minecoin purchase: Someone started a purchase with the billing account on this device. Would you like to complete the purchase with this account?"

When I choose "yes" I get the following message: "Something Went Wrong: We were unable to connect to the app store. Try signing in to the app store or checking your internet connection."

I suddenly remembered that when i set up a new Skype account a couple of months ago, I was asked to create a Microsoft account. It occurred to me that Microsoft owns XBox, so maybe the app store this error is referring to is the Microsoft one, so instead of trying to complete the purchase, I tapped on My Account and logged in using my new Microsoft account. AND IT WORKED. We were immediately served with a pop-up about completing the purchase for the minecoins we had been trying to purchase a week ago, and it went through, finally.
