I have a creative world with a fairly large railway system, and when my friends are connected using Multiplayer with Xbox, they experience severe stuttering and lag while riding on minecarts. Their screens would freeze for a couple of seconds, move for one second, freeze again, move again and so on and so forth. Strangely, the lag doesn't affect me, the host. The stuttering doesn't happen when we're playing in person using LAN though. I tried to see if the problem was only in that world, but apparently the same issue occured on every other one on my device, even new worlds. When I tried riding on their worlds, the stuttering persisted (for everyone, not just me), meaning the problem isn't just on my device. My and their networks have a download speed of around 12mbps, and we all live in the same city, so connection shouldn't be the problem.

I also had stuttering while riding minecarts until I began converting all unnecessary powered rails to regular rails, so try that.
Yes, nothing has changed for this issue with any of the updates.
Here is a video of it with normal minecart speeds - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StH1whb1CWo
And another when using an addon to speed up the minecarts - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1MqQbRTx_k
Also, flying or speed walking does not incur this stuttering lag at all.
Further experimentation has led me to believe that only minecarts are affected by this issue, as even when boats are on blue ice or when horses have speed 10, they do not stutter when being ridden. Although the boat or horse generally travels faster than the chunks are able to load, they never stutter, despite them travelling over three times faster than a normal minecart. Iād also like to add that a minecart travelling at 8m/s should not be able to outpace chunk loading unless connection is very poor, yet this is still happening with a mobile data connection of around 25mbps.
I have two versions of this problem. One seems to be very occasional depending on how many entities are in the chunk that is loading, which I get.
The other is when I (or anyone else) is holding a level 4 map. In this case, it is about one stutter per second, including all other entities, too. If I am just standing by some cows, minecarts not around, and have a level 4 map, the cows and any other entities freeze for about .2 seconds every second.

This happens to me when I'm the only one in the world, including when I'm the host.
