How can this bug exist hope u fix that bug, it's annoying. I already fix it with fill command but that command sucks, I fill the grass, it supposed to be up to layer 4 (flat world) but it fill til layer 5, fix it too

This is the remains of an old bug that caused superflat worlds to stop generating land. What happened here is that you opened the world after the bug is fixed and now it generates land again. Causing massive missing chunks in places where chunks were generated empty. I have this same problem in my superflat redstone world. It’s there because of that older now fixed bug. Nothing Mojang can do to fix it either. You will just have to /fill it all like I do. Sorry.
(It is possible that this isn’t because of that previous bug and is a new one but I don’t see that being likely. If it is then you can say it’s confirmed since it happens to me on my iPad Pro, version 1.2.16.)
