If you try to load a minecraft world it says "there was a problem trying to load this world" and won't let you play minecraft

Getting this with newly purchased and installed Minecraft v 1.4.4.0 on Lenovo Tab4 8 / Android 7.1.1

Tried creating multiple new worlds but get this error at every attempt to start playing any of them.

I just started seeing this issue last night on my sons fire 7 tablet  We had downloaded the toy story pack and loaded it fine, but now anytime we create a new world with that pack it gives this error. His world he previously created works fine
