Can't play local minecraft on xbox one

I was Going to play Minecraft with my brother and when i tried to join it said on his side of tye screen "You're Not Invited To Play On This Server" we also crash when he hits okay and didn't have Xbox Live Gold also for some reason in the friends area it doesn't say "You need Xbox Live Gold to play multiplayer online" But on servers it does. I think its because when we do multiplayer it changes our account and then it gliches maybe... Heres a photo of the glich: sorry if the filming is a little bad
