Yesterday I got a few tridents from the new drowned mob and went to see if you could enchant them in an enchanting table and it worked. On my second try I got Impaling V Unbreaking III and Loyalty III. Then I added Mending to it with an anvil. I tried it on a hostile mob and found it to be a 2 or 3 hit kill. Then I went and grabbed a regular trident and saw that it was also a two or three hit kill. I took screenshots of both tridents to show that they both had 8 attack damage even though one had Impaling V. I also had a problem where I would go directly above a spot where there was buried treasure and dig in all directions 15 or so blocks down and couldn't find anything. This was with brand new generated chunks. I don't know if I'm not looking in the right spot or what. Besides the two minor bugs I think that this is best update to Minecraft in ages and cant wait to play 1.3.

Impaling on the new trident doesnt add any attack damage. Also couldn't find buried treasure with the new buried treasure maps

Please put only one bug report in each ticket. It is very difficult to keep track of bugs when they are not in their own tickets, and it is easier for you to make multiple tickets than for the mods to separate them. (If your ticket does not look like the example given here, then it's likely to be closed.)
If you have not, please search before reporting, as it's likely that one exists already.
