This bug has been happening to me since 1.2.13 and its still happening in 1.4.
So when i open a world i get the the screenshot attached. Once it finishes updating i try to open the world but it just goes click and wont open. I have to close the game and reopen it and then i can finally join my world. This happens to every single world i have. I dont have mods or marketplace content or anything. Most of my worlds are purely vanilla only a few have addons and ones that are purely vanilla still have the updating pack thing

Same. I really hate it. I think I’ve pinned it down to enabling Experimental Features or Education Edition. Even when creating a world. I’m using IOS 11 on IPhone SE.
I've ran into the same issue. My game launches fine on Kindle (1.4), android, win 10 and X1 (1.5.0.4 and 1.5.0.1).Â
On Ios and WP it crashes everytime I try to create a new world. I can join my kindle via LAN but it disconnects very soon always after joining.
I think we have different issues. Mine doesnt crash i have to reload the game for the worlds to load. And it works perfectly fine on my android and laptop, i dont have the same issue on those devices.Â
