Downloading the active Realm world or any of the backups produces the same location, inventory and level for the owner of the Realm. In my case the data is from months ago and switching between devices (win 10, iOS, Android) still produces same results.

Update, if a different copy of the sane Β world is used to replace a realm, the inventory, location, level and current ender chest data in the replacement world is permenant in all backups and downloads.
As an example i start a realm at time point A. I download a copy of the realm at time point B. I play single player until time point C and replace the realm with time point C. Then i play to point D and download the world again.Β
In this example world D is downloaded, but the owner of the realm is stuck in point C for every backup between C and D. All other players are fine at point D.
Having the same Problem, whenever I download a copy of my Realm, the player data seems to be outdated.

Just had this same issue happen to me today. The realm owner downloaded the realm and exported. I (a different user) imported the file and opened in single player. I now have all the previous owner's inventory, armor, and enderchest items.
This is Windows 10 Bedrock, 1.12.1, 713,335KB .mcworld file
