[MCPE-33925] App store version is 1.4.2 and launch screen is 1.2.15

My app store update screen reads that my version was updated to 1.4.2 but the mcpe launch screen reads 1.2.15. Should I delete and re-install?

That sounds like a good thing to try, but make sure you have backups of all worlds you want to keep before you delete the app. If reinstalling does not work, you will need to contact the app store.

How do you back up worlds?

It finally updated to 1.4.2 today. Six days after the release date. App store update had to repeat I guess, maybe a failed attempt.
