On my G933 Logitech surround headset, as soon as I activate surround sound, some channels go off completely. As such, I hear intermittent stepping sound, can't hear NPCs from certain angles, some action sounds missing (again, from certain angles) Which clearly identify a surround channels bug in Minecraft Windows 10 Edition.
I've seen this bug being reported as early as 2015, yet Mojang never seemed to acknowledge this very annoying and, for some people, gamebreaking bug.
In case it's of use to you, one user on the forums found a workaround involving uninstalling the logitech dolby drivers and using the Windows Sonic surround driver. But it's far from user friendly and very incommoding.
Thank you for reading, in hopes this bug will be addressed. 🙂

With my G933 headset, regardless of the surround sound is activated or not, I exprienced big issues with the sound being very glitchy. My footstep sounds barely work, breacking blocs or looting sounds doesn't work correctly neither, sounds of driving a boat are like cuted in half, etc, etc. Where in the java edition I have absolutly no problem with audio, the bedrock edition on W10 seems very buggy.

Thank you for your report!

I've created a Feedback issue to protest the Bedrock team's refusal to address this long-standing issue. Please vote for the issue if you have been following this bug. Bedrock Edition should Support Digital Surround Sound – Minecraft Feedback

I got it to work by changing my G933 surround sound from Dolby to DTS in the software.
