Minecraft background goes completely black after getting disconnected from server or realm

Happening to me right now on the current version on Xbox.

It's happening currently to me on Win 10 version, with both the Chroma Hills and Norse texture packs. Every time I get booted from my realm, the background animation for the title screen is replaced by a black screen.

Happens on Switch as well. Version 1.5.3 and previous.

Happens for me as well, I'm on Xbox One, version 1.5.3

Happens on Windows 10 v1.7.1, how has this not been fixed yet?
