sorry first time reporting a bug (not that good at it). what it should be is in windows 10 edition I tried to build the portcullis from the Minecraft book medieval fortress and the single sticky piston on the bottom part run all the time and the line of sticky pistons just above don't go at all.
later I tried it with java edition and it worked. so later I tried other things with red stone, pistons and other red stone things on each edition and found the pistons worked deferent in windows 10 edition to the java edition.

That is not a bug. Bedrock edition does not have BUD mechanics or quasi-connectivity like Java. This is working as intended.
P.S. BUD or quasi-connectivity is actually a bug in Java but is now considered a feature.
