[MCPE-34872] Player characters are resetting back to world spawn point with their level 0, and none of their inventory items.

On several occasions, players who join have been reset back to world spawn point, multiple times, losing all of their character progress and inventory items.

Are they joining by local network or by Xbox Live?

If they are joining by local network, have they done one of these things below?

Change username
Clear Minecraft data
Reinstall Minecraft

Well they're connecting through Switch, logging into their Microsoft account, so I don't know what's using what
