Crashes when i try to join a freind's world. It says outdated client

Everytime I try to join my friend's world (Xbox one) it crashes, but when he\she trys to join me it says outdated client I don't understand

Both devices will need to be on the same version on order to play together. (eg 1.4 players will not be able to join 1.6 beta players)
