When I am flying in creative the game still thinks I'm walking on the ground. So I'm flying at the walking speed(same for sprinting). Though I'm still flying it makes the sound that I'm walking on whatever block is below me. This usually happens when I stop moving in flight mode. Though if I move up or down it resets back to normal flying speed.
