when the console goes into sleep mode (not powers all the way off) the Microsoft account logs out and prevents the earnings of achievements because your account isn’t logged in.
a possible solution would be to keep the account logged in at all times after the initial log in and pairing or a best alternative that should be added regardless is to allow us to log back in from the settings so we don’t have to interrupt our game session by going back to the main menu and having the loading screens

To the devs: do you have any intention to address this problem because A. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with B. it defeats the whole point of the switch and being to take it anywhere and play it anytime and C. The logging out during sleep mode should at the very least be addressed because that most definitely is a bug in my mind due to the nature of it where the switch can be is sleep mode for 1 second and the game logs out

I strongly second fixing this issue. I've missed out on a lot of advancements because I:
commonly put my Switch into sleep mode when I set it down.
play in places with no internet connection.
get disconnected temporarily from Wifi at home.
It's a huge hassle to save and quit, login, and reload the world every time I want to get an advancement. So much so that I've played multiple worlds through from beginning to the End and still haven't got the making bread advancement or super fuel, despite having done both dozens of times (apparently while offline each time).
Perhaps the login check could be daily and queue advancements in between, or the game could maintain offline advancements and "verified" advancements (via a colored border or something), or allow me to check an option to auto-login when a connection is available (doesn't fix playing offline issue, but makes it less of a hassle when disconnected).
