It's quite easy to to use riptide to launch yourself into a block

While in the riptide animation, it's very easily to get trapped inside of blocks and start suffocating. this makes using riptide anywhere but the open air/ocean very risky, as if you angle it wrong or if you pass over soul sand you'll end up in the ceiling.

Can you please add a video or screenshots of a scenario where this happens?

Okay, I will add a video of the bug when I get home in about a week. Apologies for the wait.

Terribly sorry for the wait, it has most definitely been more than a week. I wasn't able to upload a video, but I uploaded a screenshot where it happens the most for me. the tunnel is 1x5, and every time I use riptide I end up moving slightly up. if I happen to graze the ceiling of the tunnel while using riptide, I will go inside of the block and start suffocating, eventually sinking back into the tunnel. But occasionally, if I have too much of a sideways angle while using riptide, I do become trapped in a block diagonal to the tunnel's opening and have to dig my way back into the tunnel.
