New maps since Aquatic update do not align with the old ones. I provide a screen capture were the left hand has a new map created after Aquatic Update, while right hand holds a map created before that Update. Both are zoom level 4.

Previously, a zoom 0 map created at 0,0 would be located at the top left of a zoom 4 map and all maps were aligned based on that, but now the grid is based off of 0,0 centred
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket has not been updated recently (~1 year+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.

Wow, that is bizarre. Possibly related: MCPE-36057. I didn't have a zoom-4 map from pre-Aquatic so I can't test the alignment issue. But zooming a map doesn't work like it used to either. Your picture also shows that issue - you ought to have at least all of the same explored area filled in, even if mis-aligned.
