I unable to put a chest on a donkey even I clicked the right button, and it look like a issue which
just on windows 10 vision
Edit by @unknown
Steps to reproduce:
1. Place a single chest.
2. Use an axe to break it, then pick it up.
3. Tame a donkey or mule, then attempt to equip the chest on it by holding Shift and right clicking with the chest selected in your hotbar.
Expected results:
The chest is equipped onto the animal and its UI does not appear.
Actual results:
The chest remains in your hotbar and the animal's UI is displayed.
If the NBT of the chest in your inventory is inspected, it has the Damage: 4 tag. It should have Damage: 0.

Having the same problem on the Nintendo Switch Bedrock Edition, crouch + place block doesn't equip tamed Donkeys with chests. And opening up the Donkey's inventory shows no slot below the saddle to place a chest, either.
Have you tried crafting a chest from a Crafting Table and then put it on a Donkey without ever placing it? If not, this is intended behavior.
Confirmed on Windows 10 1.5.2.
When a chest is broken (mined), it is incorrectly marked as damaged. A donkey or mule can only be equipped with an undamaged chest.
As a workaround, you can repair damage to a chest by adding it to a stack of undamaged chests. Note, however, that when chests are stacked, the chests you're adding to the stack inherit the damage value of the stack, so if you stack them in the wrong order they will all become damaged. To be certain that a stack of chests is undamaged, craft a new chest, then add the stack of suspected damaged chests to the new chest.
It turns on that this issue is a Duplicate of MCPE-32152.
