Black Corrupt Skin

I tried to upload a skin to Minecraft PE whilst I was in a world but when it asked me to chose a skin type, the skin was completely black and both skin types had the larger "Steve" arms. I clicked on one at which point the upload skin slot had a completely black skin. I clicked confirm on the skin and exited the skin menu and continued playing the game. The paper doll displayed the previous skin I had on. When I next went on a world it said 'invalid or corrupt skin'. In the skin section in the opening screen I tried to import a different skin but it appears black like before. I tried changing it numerous times but it always appeared black and I couldn't go on a world. I can still, however select the skins from the Minecraft store and Steve + Alex without any problems but I still can't import any new skins (from the photos).

It would be amazing if you could fix this bug!
