Two of my imported skin packs have been vanished. This would not bother me but all of my skins have also been reset.

Can you please confirm if the skin pack you used are not the type that were patched in the latest 1.5.x release version?
No, they were from http://mcpedl.com/sg-staff-skin-pack/ and may I add, they hade a fake cape and other external things. Checkout the website for more details
The other one was a spider man skin pack http://mcpedl.com/spider-man-suits-skin-pack/
