I like to play multiplayer games, and in many multiplayer servers, there is no sounds when you try to place a block. I've tried regular multiplayer and the sounds still work perfectly fine, and this has been a problem since 1.4, as I know for now.

If this is an issue with only 3rd party servers (including official partners), then there is nothing Mojang can do, please contact the affected servers about the issue. If it affects Mojang maintained servers (Realms, XBox Live Multiplayer (player to player), LAN Multiplayer), please leave a comment.
