Minecraft crashes when opened. Mojang logo load then the water background for a moment but then turns white and softlocks.
Reboot - issue persists
Reinstalled - issue persists (note soflocks to white after connecting to Xbox live)
Issue persists on both Microsoft Lumia 640LTE and Alcatel onetouch.
Both devices were able to connect to realms and play after the update dropped.

Unable to even get to the main menu. The game goes to a white screen then unresponsive. Uninstall and reinstall has no effect on both devices.
same here on Lumia 640 and Lumia 650... It's been 2 months now and Mojang have yet to even recognize this issue, let alone address it... The are countless bug reports for this same issue here. Basically Minecraft doesn't seem to work on Windows 10 Mobile any more and having taken our money no-one cares...
... So version 1.8 for Windows Mobile was released today and joy of joys, it appears to have resolved my problems and the game is fully functional.
A big thank you to the Dev team at Mojang from me and I hope the issues are resolved for all you other responders in this thread!
