I cannot load any of my saved worlds. I can create a new world and play it for as long as I want. When I close it and try to open it again I can maybe access it a second time. All of my saved worlds get stuck on the “Generating world” page. The green loading progress bar loads all the way at a normal pace to a full bar, but the screen never progresses to the game. It is not a total freeze because the Minecraft facts keep changing every 5 seconds. In one instance my son was able to see the game I was trying to load on the friends page. He was able to run around in the world from his iPad and found my character frozen in time. I had him try attacking me with weapons and even TNT to try and rouse my character from his bug induced stupor to no avail. I play a mix of creative and survival—all of them are old worlds. (Same problem with 1.6.0)

I found a way to fix it. You have to download iExplorer on your computer. Then hook your phone up. Then you go into files. Next, you click apps. Then you click the Minecraft icon and open the games folder and then the com.mojang folder. After that, you open the minecraftWorlds folder. Now you are seeing a listing of all your worlds. Then you just guess and check till you find the world you want. Make a back up of the entire world folder. Then you open the db folder. After that, you delete any file with an LDB tag. Only do one at a time. Every time you delete a file reopen Minecraft to see if it worked. If it has not worked or your world is cut in half put that file back in from your back up and then you try it again with a new LDB file. Eventually, you will delete the corrupted file and your world will reload mostly intact.

I am having this exact same issue. I have even tried editing the world files to restart it and nothing seems to help.
