Chickens when in water never lay eggs

It's actually version 0.7.0 but I can't find it
When chickens are in the water they never lay eggs I've waited for like 5 mcpe days and nothing still in the water with no eggs please fix

Invalid, because im my world there are some chickens in the water, and sometimes lays eggs.

Invalid,Yes it lays eggs, the problem is that after 5 mins, all the droped items disappears from the world.
