[MCPE-37987] Glitch, Villagers do not appear

I have come across a few villages and there have not been any villagers in any of them. Why is this and will it be fixed.

It might be that the villagers are being killed before you are able to reach them, perhaps?

If you create a new world with a village nearby (example, try the "Coastal Village" from the seed picker) are villagers spawning correctly then?
