Went into my world with the latest beta and mobs are not spawning for the skelly dungeon. No torches or light anywhere. Difficulties are on Hard. This is with the latest beta.

same happening to me - skeleton and zombie spawners. all other spawning working as before, and mob spawners worked in previous beta (windows 10)
Mob spawners were working fine in the last beta. Only naturally spawners are affected. If you spawn a mob spawner in creative they work fine (with hostile mobs).
Same here. I updated mc recently and mobs will not spawn in. I've tested it in other worlds and have the same result. I cant play without my xp farms! Please fix this quickly.
Same issue on Xbox one 1.8.0.13 tried to report but won’t let me put 1.8.0.13 as a build.

Same issue on XBOX ONE EDITION - built large, dark room, height of 5, with spawning pads, at y-151, ocean biome. Platform below for collection at y-133. There is nothing else around, all other caves within 10 chunks lit up. Normal and Hard difficulty makes no difference. Switched to peaceful and back with no change. Stood at the collection platform for nearly 20 minutes without a single spawn. Tried waiting closer - nothing. Tried waiting a bit further away - nothing.
There have been zero updates on this issue, and it's a MAJOR ISSUE. Other than closing related bug reports for different version, such as XBOX ONE, marked as "resolved". What a load of ....
PLEASE FIX ASAP.

[media]Also, the issue this bug is describing is to do with naturally generated monster spawners which stopped spawning mobs in the 1.8.0.13 Beta. This issue has been resolved in 1.8.0.14, and is not related to the issue with the frequency of regular mob spawning.
Does this only affect mob spawners? Were the spawners working ok in the previous beta (1.8.0.11)?
