Eating a watermelon while teleporting through nether portal to nether. Teleported to nether, but not at original spot in nether for portal (no one else was in server at the time, so no movement of portals possible). No portals to be seen at new spot. Original portal was at a fortress and teleported to different fortress. Closed the game. Opened again and there was a portal. Went through. Ended up on what seemed the edge of the world. Traveled for 12+ days east north east and never saw the compass needle leave 45 degrees. Ended up as a suicide.

I have had this happen twice recently, once going into the nether and once going into the overworld. Thankfully, I have not been teleported quite as far.

i have attempted to recreate and failed after trying multiple times it might be a frame perfect thing, lag thing, or a world loading thing
edit: i have recreated the bug it seems to be frame perfect
Weird. I tried doing what you said and no luck. Must have been a one time bug.
