Wooden Slab hard to break w/ Axe (easy w/ Pick)

It seems very hard to break a Wooden Slab using an axe and the slab is totally destroyed. Using a pickaxe the slab is easily destroyed and available to be picked up.

My guess is the wooden slab has been incorrectly categorized under stone.

(I should add, Wooden Planks do break correctly with an Axe.)

This was just fixed recently in the real PC Minecraft version. Don't expect fix for a while.

Just want to say this is still in v0.5.0 and I think it should be fixed. It will be an easy fix!!!

It's basically a retextured stone slab. It should be an extremely easy fix.

sachi: This one was reported before yours, so MCPE-2298 is the duplicate of this report.

It wasn't a bug; Data values are 43. (43:2) 43 Is Stone
as it's oak wood slab. Maybe 0.7.0 it will be fixed.

They actually were retextured stone slabs, added a real Wood Slab item with a wood material.

By the way, if you happen to destroy a pre-0.7.3 wood slab in 0.7.3 or later, (still with a pick) you'll get a "wooden" wood slab, that is easier to break with an axe. Also, if you store an old wood slab in inventory, the tooltip will say: "Fake Wood Slab". -Taken from Minecraft Wiki. I have only played v0.2.1 demo and v0.8.1 full.
